I have to agree with one of your favourite movies – Gran Torino. I have seen every Clint Eastwood movie and his performance in Gran Torino was the best of his career. It appalled me, it made me laugh, it made me cry, and through it all if you learned anything it was that you can teach an old dog new tricks.
Gran Torino is easily one of my top 10 movies of all time.
There’s no way you’re 69. I think that’s just your favorite number or something. I just figured you were 59. I guess watching movies keeps you young. Was that picture taken at Uncle Pete’s?
Hi Bill, Just read your critique of Winter’s Bone…exellent review…going to blockbuster to see if they have it. Some of my favorites are Crossing to Safety (Stegner), Edgar Sawtelle, Cutting for Stone (have you read it if not you must!)…Gary wants to know if you read Steig larsen’s books ?

I just stumbled onto your site this morning..Great website. I will definately be visiting this site quite often. Great job..
Bubba~ site is impressive….kudos!
Bill;
I love reading your reviews as well as hearing your views, when on wkkx. I noticed that you skipped the last Harry Potter movie. As it is one of my guilty pleasures, let me make a comment on this interesting picture. I had read all of the books, seen all of the movies, in none of the prior films, have I heard what I heard in the theatre this time…pure silence! No cell phones, no talking, just silence. There is a scene in which, Snape dies, and then Harry reviews his memories. While not as good as the book, Alan Rickman stole the show. His portrayl of Snape actually brought tears to my eyes, not to mention that my son (a teenager), was a bit teary eyed himself. It was a fitting end to the series, and truely one of the better Potter movies. Thank you for letting me share this comment on my favourite movie of the summer. Rebecca
This is awesome, but when the hell are you going to get on Facebook?

One other thing: How in the world did Il Divo get on that list?
Oh, and by the way, “Prince of Tides” is clearly Conroy’s best work….:)
Great to see that you are still at it after all these years. Suprised that the movie, “BIG” was not in your top movie selection or did you make us watch the horrible flick in class as punishment for the O.J. trial. My family and I wish you and yours all the best and we will check here before we head to the movies next time. Nobody puts Baby a the corner!
